I love our planet, and I want to do everything possible to prevent further damage to our environment.
As a start, here are a few examples of my efforts when it comes to shipping materials, packaging, and art supplies:
Recycled cardboard boxes and pads
Biodegradable water-activated tape
Reusable stamps with a soy-based ink pad
Cards and most paper products are made from recycled materials
Using up previously purchased plastic sleeves for water protection (will switch to something more eco-friendly once used up.)
Everything is recyclable
My next goal is to use more environmentally sustainable art supplies. I always try to avoid as much plastic as possible, use and purchase only necessary items, and recycle the materials, packaging, and waste. I am learning about and seeking more eco-friendly supplies like paints, brushes, papers, etc., as well as making my own paint which I plan to show on my Instagram: @oliviabeekenart
